From TANGER to MARRAKECH via CASABLANCA

City of Tanger
Grottes d'Hercule
Situated in the north of Morocco, at 14km from the Strait of Gibraltar, Tanger is one of the most visited cities in the country. Tanger is the second economic city in the country after Casablanca and where the commerce is actually in development. In this city, the Mediterranean sea gives you access to beautiful beaches where you can enjoy the agreeable weather and meet other travelers from all around the world. No far from the Tanger Med, the new moroccan port, many traditional restaurants offer you delicious meals where you will be tempted to taste the fresh fishes accompanied with the mint tea. In the principal street, you can discover the moroccan culture through different boutiques where the merchant will propose you a large variety of artisanal souvenirs and traditional clothes. Casablanca, in the western Morocco, is a majestic city of Morocco located in the Atlantic Ocean. It is the first economic center of the country where many firms have their headquarters and where the commerce is actually one of the most important in the country. This city is know for its majestic mosque Hassan II built on the sea and is the 7th largest mosque in the world. The visit of this monument is primordial for your trip in Morocco because it is your chance to discover the religious side of the country and learn more about its story. Some kilometers farther from this historical mosque, « La Corniche » is a beautiful place where you can take a walk and enjoy the sunset in the ocean. Morocco is a very touristic country. The principal economic factors of this country is first of all its tourism. In fact, each year, many tourists come from all around the world to visit the historical cities of Morocco, taste the traditional couscous and the delicious tajine, and bring back to home artisanal souvenirs. This aspect is in development in the country and many people are tempted to visit the beautiful landscapes of Morocco. Plus, the agriculture represents also an important factor for the economic development in Morocco. Welcome to Canada - Bienvenue au Canada

  • My first year in Canada

I was born in Morocco and in 2002, when I was 9, my parents decided to leave our country to settle in Canada. The first few months were very difficult for me because I was separated from my friends and family and the Quebecker - French was unfamiliar for me and I couldn't understand one word!! Plus, the most difficult problem was the cold winter. I've never seen small and white flakes in my life: it was beautiful! It was an amazing experience to try skiing and ice skating: it was wonderful :) The summer was also a great experience for me because I travelled all around Quebec, New Brunswick, PEI and Ontario. I discovered a lot of things in each cities we have visited my family and I. We tried a lot activities, enjoyed the weather, and had a great time.
