MOROCCO

Welcome everyone :)

I decided to introduce to you my country of origin, Morocco, a beautiful country with a rich culture, different landscapes, impressive monuments, and a numerous places to visit.

First of all, let's start with a brief description of Morocco.
- Geographic situation: North Africa
- Population: 35 million of inhabitants
- Area: more than 710,000 km²
- Main languages: Arabic, French, and Spanish
- Capital: Rabat
- Currency: Dirham
- Main touristic cities: Tanger, Rabat, Casablanca, Fès, Meknès, Marrakech, Agadir, and Essaouira
- Political system: Monarchy - Mohammed VI since 1999
- Religion: Islam
- National Anthem Morocco

In Morocco, the weather differs from different regions. In fact, in the same day we can wear our rain boots in Casablanca for example, taste a delicious mint tea on the top of the mountain by enjoying the sunset in Marrakech, ski during the winter in the area of Fès and burn under the sunshine in the south of the country as in Sahara. Morocco is a very touristic country. In my opinion, the best season to visit Morocco is during the the spring or the autumn because you can enjoy the agreeable weather, do a lot of activities, and visit different regions.

The principal economic factors of this country is first of all its tourism. In fact, each year, many tourists come from all around the world to visit the historical cities of Morocco, taste the traditional couscous and the delicious tajine, and bring back to home artisanal souvenirs. This aspect is in development in the country and many people are tempted to visit the beautiful landscapes of Morocco. Plus, the agriculture represents also an important factor for the economic development in Morocco. Cereals, corn, vegetables, olives, oil, and citrus fruits are the principal agriculture production in the country.

In my next blog post, I will introduce to you Marrakech, Casablanca, and Tanger, some of the most touristic cities in Morocco. I hope you will enjoy your little visit in Morocco and that will be your next travel destination :)

See you soon and if you need more information about Morocco, don't hesitate.
